We are proud of all our Strider Riders and love following their adventures on BMX tracks. We love it even more when they are out on their Striders, helping their community.
Sunday 10th April saw Lewis, aged 3, riding his Strider Balance bike as part of lap event to raise much needed funds for Redditch BMX Club.
The Club held a fundraising event to raise money to buy new bikes for the community to use at the track. His aim was to do 6 laps of the BMX track & he managed 20 and raised £265.
Also out on the track riding were some of Lewis's heroes including his coach Jason who has taught Lewis since he was 18 months riding 100 laps.An absolutely awesome effort and all done on his trusty Strider.
At Strider we love to reward those that make the effort to help others so we have decided to also donate a 12" Strider Sport to the club to help get others on two wheels.
Strider support passionate coaches and instructors across the country that are teaching the next generation to ride bikes. If you haven't been to a BMX track then go down and try it. All over the UK, we have tracks that welcome children on their bikes from as young as 18 months and are creating a pool of talent and inspiring kids to want to ride their bikes. Clubs are welcoming to new riders and you won't find more passionate people wishing to share their love for a family friendly sport.
