Open to the public from 25th to 27th September at the NEC in Birmingham The Cycle Show has had over 300,000 visitors since its launch in 2002.
The exhibitor list has grown year-on-year and with over 280 exhibitors in the upcoming 2015 event it’s the go-to place for all things bike and cycle.
The event is a great family day out and offers an opportunity for children from 18 months old to experience the joys of a Strider Bike along with a whole host of other highlights under one very large roof.
Stand D1 - the place to be seen at The Cycle Show in 2015…
There are a number of good reasons to visit the Strider Bike Stand at The Cycle Show this year. Not convinced? Here are our favourite:
- Our Kids’ Test Track - along with expert staff from our Birmingham Strider Centre - is a great place for the little ones to experience the joys of a Strider Bike and also for parents to get expert advice. You can’t miss the staff here as they’re kitted out in big yellow Strider Tops!
- If you represent a charity or organisation then you may well be interested in our Strider Rider Fund that offers the chance to get Free Strider Bikes for both children and adults. Application forms are available on Stand D1.
- And last, but certainly not least, we’re offering everyone who pays us a visit the chance to win our brand new top end Strider 12 Pro. At just 2.2kg, it’s the lightest Strider Bike in the world, making it the perfect first bike for younger children. It’s also fast becoming the bike of choice for speedy five-year-olds!
And if that isn’t enough - anyone who visits the stand accompanied by a Strider Bike complete with rider will receive a Free Gift simply for showing their face!
Other Highlights at The Cycle Show, 2015…
The Big Air Invitational:
Hosted by Monster UK’s Sam Pilgrim this will feature freestyle dirt jumpers from around the globe in its second year at The Cycle Show. With big names like Sam Reynolds and Tomas Lemoine already confirmed, this spectacular event has over £5k in prizes on offer and over 430 tons of earth!
The Electric Bike Track:
Electric Bikes - or eBikes - are becoming more and more popular and this year at The Cycle Show. There’ll be a dedicated test track with over 100 bikes on display solely for those who want to try before they buy.
The track allows a good thorough testing with a ramp and incline section to properly demonstrate what the bikes are capable of.
All the major brands that retail electric bikes will be there like Gazelle, A2B and RooDog. 2015 sees the largest collection of electric bikes in the UK on offer in one place.
This will put them through their paces.
Participants in the Cyclocross will be competing on Saturday 26th on a course that’s 2km longer than in previous year’s, with a prize fund of £2000.
There are races for U 10s, U 12s, youth, juniors, veterans, and both men’s and women’s elites so there’s plenty of action going on from young to not-so young.
The race starts and finishes in the main hall with a tricky outdoor woodland section and a new lakeside shingle section.
If you’re heading to the Cycle Show we’ll see you there on Stand D1.
