Strider Balance Bike TT, Staffordshire Cycling Festival

A return to the much loved Staffordshire Cycling Festival for 2016, saw Strider trying a new event style; the Balance Bike TT, or Time Trial.

Titanium Cycling Events very kindly spent hours changing their software to accommodate the shorter lap times required by the 50 Strider Riders that joined in, so they could use professional timing chips to record their laps of the course created.

STRIDER make high quality balance bikes, that can be used over any terrain to encourage kids to ride. In addition, we put on events that encourage kids to ride with other children, so they can develop social skills, improve confidence and have a lot of fun! A free event entry is included with the purchase of a Strider 12" Sport or 12" Pro bike.

Our family groups enjoyed the day too. Local beers, great food and a big screen to watch the Tour De France went down well and many stayed into the evening to watch the Pro Cycling.

We were even fortunate to have Graham Briggs (JLT Condor) who despite riding himself later that day, brought his son and his Strider bike to join in.  Strider is rapidly becoming the choice of bike for the kids of cycling professionals as they appreciate our design help teach their children to follow in their tracks and recognise the key to success is to allow kids to enjoy riding with others.
