Strider Love - Pre-school and Nursery Strider Balance Bike Giveaway

It is a fantastic day here as we are announcing the results of our Pre-school Strider Balance Bike Giveaway!

One of the special things about Strider is the amount of money and product that we give back to our communities through charity. This is due to the bikes designer and Strider's founder, Ryan’s commitment to give generously. We call it sharing STRIDER love.

Many companies talk about giving back, but Strider pays it forward in a significant way. Since 2007, Strider has donated over £400,000, which includes £150,000 in cash and £250,000 in bikes, to organizations that serve children and adults in need.

Strider formalised its benevolence commitment with the creation of The Rider Fund, which was first introduced June 2014 at the Special Olympics USA Games. Since then, Strider has committed one percent of gross revenue from all sales worldwide to this fund. The bikes and products are donated through a grant application process.

“Our mission statement talks about why we exist, but the Rider Fund shows how we ‘walk the talk’ and support those in need”, said Founder and CEO, Ryan McFarland. “At Strider, we love riding bikes, and we love inspiring kids to ride. However, we know that many kids – and adults – face much greater challenges than learning to ride a bike. We created the Rider Fund to support local, national and international charities addressing these challenges.”

Here at Strider UK we are keen to ensure that this round of grant applications benefit at grassroots level - our pre-schools and nurseries.

Following a shout out on Facebook  we asked Strider loving parents to put forward schools that can benefit and we had an amazing response, so thank you if you joined in.

So the list of winners to receive the best selling STRIDER 12 Sport Balance Bike for 18 months to 5 years are :-
