Invited back by popular demand and called the "best spectator sport ever" by some pretty impressed visitors, this weekends HSBC UK British Downhill Series saw Strider Racing back at Llangollen.
40 brave speedy Strider Riders aged between 18 months and 5 years tackled the steep finish straight individually at this years' BDS course, cheered on by the crowds and whilst there were some red flags (parents picking them back up) all made it down.
The kids embarked on a road trip from all corners of the UK and spent the weekend riding the pump track and camping with their mates.
Downtime was spent eating ice-creams and riding the pump track! Some very very tired toddlers made the trip home Sunday night!
Our huge thanks go to the team at the BDS, the marshalls and all the parents for their support. Special thanks go to legend Tahnee Seagrave for giving up her pre-race time to hand out the trophies. The future of riding will be found in these kids and the inspiration will come from watching the grown-ups!
So the results -
