Despite everything getting a little soggy yesterday, at the Aviva Womens Tour, in Stratford Upon Avon we still all had bucket loads of fun to match the buckets of rain.
15 Strider Balance Bike riders, the youngest being just 20 months, braved the rain to entertain the onlookers that came to watch the finish of the toughest day on the Tour yet, a 140 miler for the World's Top Riders, in some very wet conditions. The kids came from as far as Cheshire and Kent to ride a couple of challenge time trials, before climbing the podium to receive their medals and teddy bear.
For a taste of the action check out Tabitha, aged 3 taking it all in her Stride.
Huge well done to Casey too for having the fastest combined time overall and picking up the trophy for the day!
The aim here at Strider is to inspire kids to want to ride. It works too with many parents telling us their toddlers spend all day on their Striders. As balance bike manufacturers, that have taught toddlers from as young as 18 months to ride a bike, we create calendar of unique events aimed to inspire confidence, provide opportunities to enjoy their bikes and get kids outside having fun.
To join in, visit our events page to check out the next event. Remember these book quickly and the Downhill at the British Downhill Series is already almost full and that is on the 18th September so don't delay!
So to all our proud Strider Parents from yesterday, please enjoy these images!
(nice to be dry isn't it!) Thanks for coming, Karen.
